Presented by The Incubator Creative Hub, our All About ART - Sunday Arts Documentary series presents, THE SALT of THE EARTH.
This documentary is a 2014 biographical documentary directed by Wim Wenders and Juliano Ribeiro Salgado. The film explores the life and work of Sebastião Salgado, a Brazilian photographer known for his powerful black-and-white images that document human suffering, environmental destruction, and natural beauty.
The documentary traces 40 years of Salgado’s career, showcasing his journeys across continents, capturing international conflicts, famine, migration, and pristine landscapes. It also delves into his personal transformation, culminating in his environmental project to restore a part of Brazil’s Atlantic Forest.
After the documentary screening you are welcome to visit THE LIGHT LAB, home of Nicholas Charles Photography and one of our many Incubator Creative Hub spaces at The Historic Village, located just behind the Village Community Cinema. Nic will be on hand at The Light Lab to give a tour of his professional photography studio and showcase his work.
