Join DOC at the Ōwhango Pavilion to hear about some of Aotearoa’s fascinating nocturnal creatures!

As night falls, we’ll learn how to use bat-boxes to hear if any pekapeka (long-tailed bats) are out for the evening, and switch on our torches to look for bugs that come alive in the dark. Explore the nightlife of the ngahere in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
