Join this joyful outdoor workshop and explore the art of shadow drawing—a creative and mindful way to reconnect with nature. Using sunlight (or torches on cloudier days), you’ll trace the shadows of leaves, plants, and trees into your sketchbook, then bring them to life with vibrant colours and fine liner details.
This gentle, grounding session is designed to help you slow down, observe your surroundings, and experience the mental health benefits of creating art outdoors. Whether you’re new to drawing or returning to it, this inclusive workshop offers a space to play, connect, and unwind.
📍 Vivary Park is a highly accessible location in central Taunton, with nearby public toilets, a café, ice cream stand, and plenty of benches for seating. You’re also welcome to bring a picnic blanket or pop-up chair to get comfortable under the trees.
