The duo GENTLE JAZZ, as the name suggests, offers a carefully curated selection of pieces from the classic and modern jazz tradition, commonly known as “standards.”
From G. Gershwin to D. Ellington, including C. Porter, S. Rollins, A. C. Jobim, and many others, Gentle Jazz’s musical journey spans diverse styles and cultures, all united by a common thread: improvisation.
The duo has made a deliberate stylistic choice to present an elegant yet rigorous form of jazz, faithful to its authentic language.
With Enzo Pafumi on guitar and Marcello Leanza Sax, bringing their extensive experience to the stage, the audience is guided through a century of history , the unique, captivating, and still-vibrant story of jazz and its legendary figures.
