In this monthly signature show, Tampa Bay's finest improv comedians improvise scenes based on stories, monologues, and anecdotes from notable Tampeños. It's a comedy extravaganza unlike any other, showcasing the unique character -- and comedy! -- of the city in which we live.
ABOUT OUR JULY GUEST, KEITH ARSENAULT
Keith Lawrence Arsenault has served on the staff of The Joffrey Ballet, the Opera Company of Boston, Palm Beach Opera, and Nacional Ballet de Colombia, and as General Manager of the record-breaking San Francisco production of Cloud 9 among other assignments that have taken him to 45 states and across Canada and Latin America. Arsenault most recently served as Theatre Manager for Hillsborough Community College’s Ybor City performing arts facilities. Currently he is the General Manager of the New Tampa Performing Arts Center.
His recent design work encompasses 52 St. Petersburg Opera productions including the Opera News award winning production of Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, as well as Into the Woods, Cosi Fan Tutte, Carmen, A Little Night Music, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, Sweeney Todd, and many more. His design work has been on display at American Stage Company, Gorilla Theatre, Stageworks, Palm Beach Opera, Symphony Space New York City, Dinosaur Space Boston, Teatro Colon in Bogota, Colombia, and numerous Fortune 500 events and theme park attractions.
Arsenault holds degrees in arts management and music and has taught stage management and lighting design on the university level. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Florida Dance Association, Theatre Tampa Bay and was selected by former Florida Secretary of State Sandra Mortham to serve as a member of the dance panel for the Florida Division of Cultural Affairs as well as National Endowment for the Arts grant panels. Currently he is on the Hillsborough County Arts Council Cultural Assets Commission; He is a member of UNESCO’s International Dance Council and The United States Institute for Theatre Technology.
