90s & 2000s R&B with a Haiku Spin!
Come out to The Dance Factory’s first R&B night!
This is not your regular R&B night, we are adding a little spin with your participation! So if you love this music and have something to share anonymously right in front of your friends this event will be a blast for you! The bonus, we get to listen to the best music from that last decades!
Come reminisce with us and share something with your favorite music!
What to expect?
We will have a DJ playing the music and an MC reading your anonymous tidbits you want to share between song transitions! Use the card provided and write a Haiku-Like poem/statement for our MC to read out loud! And YES, use the same card to request your favorite song!
A great idea would be to think of a few before you even arrive! Here is an example:
Haiku-Ish Anonymous Poem
Subject or Topic: Her name is Beth
The Setting: She had eyes like the summer rain
Something that happened or something you wanted to share: I jumped out of her 2nd floor window
The result: Her father didn’t catch us
