The outdoor passion drama, HIS LAST DAYS, will be presented in Tallulah Falls, GA at 7:00pm on Labor Day weekend, Saturday August 30th and Sunday, August 31st. The event is located on the historic Scenic Loop, Route 15 near the Tallulah Falls Middle School.
His Last Days began at Covecrest in Rabun County in 1984 as the vision of Carol Murphy, a pastor's wife, whose husband, Bob, was the minister at the retreat center. Along with the inspiration and vision of Jan Volk, wife of Rev. Doug Volk, Carol's vision of an outdoor passion drama depicting the last days of Jesus's life through music and singing, was brought to life. As one of the longest running outdoor passion dramas in the United States, His Last Days continues to tell the story of the love exhibited by Christ as he suffered and died on the cross.
His Last Days is presented by an all volunteer choir and cast around a small lake in the Northeast Georgia mountains. The event is supported solely by donations, both at the gate and throughout the year. It is recommended to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating in the audience area and snacks, drinks, and a hotdog plate will be available for purchase. In the event of rain, the performance will continue after short delays. All are welcome. Visit www.hislastdaysdrama.com or call 706-963-0993 for more information.
You will not want to miss this year's performance of HIS LAST DAYS and experience the very moving presentation of the passion of Jesus Christ.
