Taknado is a trio from Latvia 🇱🇻
performing music in the styles of synthwave, retrowave, and synthpop. With powerful energy, neon aesthetics, and analog sound, they take you on a time machine ride back to the golden age of 80s electronic music.
The album Taknado – Side A / Side B was released traditionally on vinyl and cassette. Many tracks, such as Mercedes, Dance At My Funeral, Purple Haze, and Плащ (Plashch), can be heard as soundtracks in cyberpunk-themed shooters and racing video games.
Their cover of the song Na Zare by the band Aljans, performed by Taknado and DJ Karpovich, is playing in clubs all the way from Central Asia to Latin America.
