🔸Bring signs! Music will keep up spirits. Speakers will offer new suggestions and more local actions. The wife of a detained immigrant also plans to speak. This protest will amplify her voice.
🔸Show Congress we are serious and will turn out in strong numbers for the midterm elections.
🔸We stand AGAINST the MAGA administration, the Heritage Foundation and its local partner, James Madison Institute. We stand AGAINST Project 2025.
🔸John Lewis championed environmental justice as well as civil and voting rights. Environmental disregard, degradation, & de-regulation harms- especially harming those most vulnerable already. Slashing environmental, science, and weather and storm management budgets is devastating. We say NO!
🔸We say NO to these extreme budget cuts. Medicaid and Medicare are crucial. So are the benefits to children, veterans, and the list goes on.
