- Personal Introduction: Learn about Chip's incredible journey from tiny orphan to internet sensation, including the story behind his distinctive name and his arrival at Tallahassee Museum in 2024.
- Educational Experience: Discover amazing armadillo facts during this interactive presentation. Did you know armadillos can hold their breath up to 6 minutes?
- Learn Our Mission: The Tallahassee Museum offers daily animal encounters at the Chapin Snake Center, where visitors can see native Florida animals like alligators, snakes, turtles, armadillos, opossums, and birds of prey. These encounters take place Monday through Friday at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 3:30 pm.
- Photo Opportunities: Capture memories with our celebrity armadillo as he demonstrates his natural behaviors, including his famous digging skills and love for exploration.
- Q&A Session: Ask our expert animal care team questions about Chip's daily routine, his favorite activities like worm-hunting walks, and what makes armadillos such unique creatures.
