Maxfield's 10 Years in DC Anniversary Party at Chacho

Friends! I have lived here almost 10 years to the day and DC has slowly but surely become my home. I have met so many wonderful people and played with so many fun and fantastic musicians. I am not great at hosting birthday or other parties so now is the time!

If you are in town, come celebrate with me! We will play a ton of music, dance some dances, and generally have a good time.

If you have played or would like to have played any music with me, I would love to do something with you here. Or come play something on your own, or just come hang. There is a piano and I'll bring my PA. The more the merrier.

To my tango dancer friends, I have had some questions. I love you, I know this is at Chacho, but this is not a milonga. The chairs will not be out of the way and only a few tangos will be played early on by me and Heyni. I have also produced folk and punk events at Chacho and tango is not the only activity I do. I would love to see you, so if you are looking forward to dancing Saturday night, I recommend you stop by for a quick drink at 7, enjoy some vibes and music, and then head over to Jimmy's Milonga Maleva where he is hosting some cool dancers: Julia Gorin & Lautaro Cancela.
