The ONternet Presents 'Open Decks' at Artworks Theatre - Waiheke Isl
A first for the motu and in conjunction with Aotearoa New Zealand Music Month, this four-part event series is designed to be accessible and welcoming to DJs of all skill levels, offering a space to practice, learn, and connect with other music enthusiasts in front of a crowd out on the deck at Artworks Theatre.
What: Bring your best beats and showcase your DJ skills at our 'Open Decks' event. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, all are welcome to jump on and spin some tunes and vibe with the crowd, It takes courage to share something that you’re into: it’s so personal and subjective, with that said, this is a public, all ages & free event so we ask that music styles take this into consideration, as a guideline we ask the music be suitable with a focus on a 'early doors' style, more chill than thrill 😉 - think Disco/Nu-Disco, House, Minimal, Down tempo, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul etc...

You will be randomly allocated your time slot prior to the event.
You are welcome to bring your own controller for use.

- Pioneer Rev7 controller + Headphones
(If using our controller, you will be required to use your own laptop w Serato Pro installed and download the drivers for the Pioneer Rev7 (available here:
