YARG ME HEARTIES, prepare to set sail for a bounty of loot and great games! For the three weeks between High Seas release and NZ Nationals, Card Merchant Takapuna will be running High Seas Draft as our armory format. If that’s not exciting enough (this set looks AWESOME for draft), we have some special treasures to give out…

First of all, the nuts and bolts:

Time: 7pm Thursday
Format: High Seas Draft, 3 round swiss
Cost: $25
Prizing: 1x GEM2 pack on entry, High Seas TREASURE PACK to the winningest player/s*

Card Merchant Takapuna has a trove of GEM1 packs left over, and we’re swabbing the deck and having them all walk the plank! Unlock any of the achievements below and walk away with 5x GEM1 packs!

First 3-0 result with Puffin
First 3-0 result with Gravy
First 3-0 result with Marlynn
First 3-0 result with Scurv
First killing blow with Sticky Fingers
First Marlynn to shoot an arrow with 13 or more power
First Puffin to amass 1 gold & 3 cogs
First Gravy to amass 13 or more power of allies

*Winningest players refers to the player/s with the best records. In an 8 person event, there will be one 3-0 player, and one box of High Seas opened so this is nice and clean where the one pack will go to the one 3-0 player. It gets a little more complicated when there are between 9 and 15 players - we will always endeavour to give out a treasure pack to a 3-0 player but this might not always be possible, in which case GEM standings will decide your fate!
