MTB Clinic: Technical Terrain Skills

Time: 9:00a – 11:30a
Cost: $140

Saturday clinics are 2.5 hours, learning and practicing 2 to 3 targeted mountain bike skills, followed by a short, guided ride. Clinics are open to riders ages 14+.

Jump into the skills of riding your mountain bike across rough and loose terrain. Learn how to better attack technical terrain, both on the ascent and descent by practicing unweighting techniques and basic wheel lifts. For those that are ready, we can introduce easy air maneuvers that are useful for technical terrain. The clinic includes a short, guided ride to practice new skills! Riders should be comfortable in a balanced standing position for descents, a foundational position to learn these new skills. Want to register for a clinic, but don’t have a bike?
No problem — clinic participants can rent a bike for just $30 at Tahoe XC! Ride a Santa Cruz Chameleon or Canyon Stoic bike with an aluminum frame and front suspension.
