Intro to MTB + Cornering

Time: 9:00a – 11:30a
Cost: $140

Saturday clinics are 2.5 hours, learning and practicing 2 to 3 targeted mountain bike skills, followed by a short, guided ride. Clinics are open to riders ages 14+.

Start with a clear break-down of the fundamentals of mountain biking. Whether you’ve been riding for a few weeks to a few years, there’s always room to improve on the fundamentals. In this clinic, we’ll explore the ranges of motion possible on your bike, create better spatial awareness, and improve your ability to dynamically maintain balance and stability on your bike. Additionally, we will introduce the basic techniques to apply to cornering. This clinic ends with a guided ride, where you can practice your skills alongside your instructor.

Want to register for a clinic, but don’t have a bike?
No problem — clinic participants can rent a bike for just $30 at Tahoe XC! Ride a Santa Cruz Chameleon or Canyon Stoic bike with an aluminum frame and front suspension.
