Stories on the Square: Larry Shade

Outdoor storytelling returns to downtown Tahlequah! Join us Wednesday mornings in June for “Stories on the Square” at the Cherokee National Peace Pavilion. Each week will feature a different storyteller, with performances beginning at 10 a.m., and a fun craft activity for all ages. “Stories on the Square” is free and open to the public.

On June 18, Larry Shade, well-known for his Cherokee cultural teachings and traditional hunting implements called “gigs,” will share a few of his favorite stories.
