What: TCC Summer Orchestra Concert

When: 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9

Where: Building 2 Theater

Cost: Free (donations accepted)


Everyone is invited to come and enjoy live dance music by the TCC Summer Orchestra, conducted by Dr. John Falskow.

“This is a volunteer orchestra, made up of students and community musicians. We are playing a program of familiar classics and jazz pieces, all centered on dance music,” Falskow said.

On the program:

Tchaikovsky, “March” from The Nutcracker.

Strauss, “On the Beautiful Blue Danube.”

Arr. Custer, “Duke Ellington!”

Arr. Ford, “Minnie the Moocher.”
