This one-day event gives young people (ages 5–17) the chance to launch their own business for a day!
From creating a brand and product or service to building a unique marketing strategy, these kidpreneurs bring their ideas to life and open for customers at our vibrant one-day marketplace!
💡 They’ll also have a chance to win cash prizes in the following categories:
-Highest Business Potential
-Most Unique Business Idea
-Most Creative Presentation
Local business owners from the Hilltop neighborhood will serve as judges.
*Adults, take the back seat!
Once booths are set up, adults may only assist the very youngest participants if needed. This is a space for young people to take the lead, explore their ideas, and learn through real-world practice — with plenty of grace for trying, pivoting, and discovering what gives them joy.
📍 The fair will take place outdoors at People’s Park during the Hilltop Street Fair.
Kidpreneurs must bring their own table, chair, tent, and any other materials needed to create a real market-style booth.
🗓 Vendor applications open one month prior to August 23rd.
Only 50 spots available, and we usually fill up within two days, so don’t miss it!

💵 This year, there is a $15 vendor fee, paid directly to the Hilltop Business Association (the host of the Hilltop Street Fair).
