In-Store Beginner Western Bookbinding Class

Sunday, July 27th • 11 AM - 2 PM • $40

Join us and Kace Whitacre in-store for a fun, beginner bookbinding cover workshop!

In this class, you will learn how to assemble and decorate your own book cover. Kace will show you how to prepare davey boards and how to attach pages to assemble your own custom book.

Pre-made books pages will be provided, but students will need to bring their own tools, or purchase in-store before the start of class.

Supplies required:
- Exacto Knife (to trim cloth for your book)
- Cutting Mat
- Pencil
- Permanent Fine Pen (to sign your book)
- Straight Edge Ruler
- Plastic Squeegee Applicator or Plastic Card (to help spread glue evenly)

A handout with directions will be provided, that you may take home, to guide you in making future custom books.
