HUG warmly invites you to the Grand Opening of the Artivism Storefront Center, a bold new creative sanctuary dedicated to cultural expression, healing, and community-rooted artistry.
This vibrant open house is more than just a celebration—it’s a call to BIPOC artists, creatives, and healers to help us shape a community-centered cultural & healing program that reflects the brilliance and imagination of our people.
We are actively recruiting community members (BIPOC, Trans, Queer, and Neurodivergents are encouraged) to become program instructors to lead intimate, 60–90 minute creative sessions rooted in, but not limited to the following disciplines:
🎭 Movement (dance, yoga, pilates, somatics, body awareness)
🍴 Culinary arts (including cultural food demos)
💍 Fashion & jewelry design
🎨 Painting, sketching & visual arts
🧵 Crafting, fiber arts
🖥️ Digital design & multimedia
💰 Community Instructor Pay Starts at $65 per session
Instructors using their own materials may qualify for increased stipends. All others will be provided supplies by HUG.
