Meet on the main playground at Saint Patrick School under the covered playground.
TIME
8:00 am - 1:00 pm
BRING
Gloves, trucks, gas-powered tools, water bottles, sunscreen
WHY
to beautify the campus in preparation for the start of the school year. Service counts toward fulfilling volunteer commitment hours.
SCOPE OF WORK
🌿 Hedge Yakima, 1th and 12th Street
🌿 W**d whack Yakima hill (watch for bees)
🌿 Mow G Street and front garden area
🌿 W**d the entire perimeter of the school - all the crevices, curbs, and cracks too!
🌿 Spread the beauty park in all planters
🌿 W**d/Refresh PreK Entrance Planter
🌿 W**d/Refresh all planters and pots around the perimeter
🌿 Pressure wash play toys (both)
🌿 Pressure wash the Main playground and PreK asphalt
🌿 Pressure wash the Main Entrance & G Street entrance
🌿 Plus a few extra fun things I hope we can get done:
🌿 Wash the green awnings on G Street
🌿 Touch up yellow and green paint on G Street
🌿 Closet cleanout - Music/Performing Arts & IT
The plan to paint the school's front façade and touch up the main entrance railing and PreK wall is being worked on. There may be other small projects on campus, but Hedgefest will primarily be about landscaping efforts, curb appeal, and preparing the playgrounds for students. We'll let you know if any other special projects come up between now and then.
