Messy Drawing for People Who Don't Know How to Get Started

In this class, we will work through a series of fun loose and expressive drawings with marker and pen to get used to putting lines and marks down on paper. The intent of this class is to help familiarize people who would be otherwise scared to draw with tools, papers, and simple guidelines for measurement that will enable people to feel confident enough to start sketching and drawing on their own.

The key to becoming great at drawing isn’t to start out being great at drawing. The most important thing is to develop a love of trying that will encourage you to keep going and keep trying as your hand and eye skills gradually get better.

No previous drawing experience is expected or required. Students will leave the class with a couple completed messy drawings and a kit of curated gray scale markers, pens, and a pencil that they can use anywhere to continue their drawing journey.

Cancellation Policy: We will refund 50% for any cancellation made at least eight days before the class. After 8 days, we are unable to provide refunds for any reason, including illness. If you cannot attend after registration, you are welcome to gift your tuition to a friend at no charge. We do not transfer tuition from one class to another.
