Block Printing on Fabric Workshop

Join us for a fun evening learning the art of block printing with local artist, Rachel Lambes. Rachel will lead us through the entire printmaking process including preparing, carving, and printing your own custom design. We will be carving linoleum blocks to print personalized tea towels or reusable shopping totes.

All required materials are included in the class tuition. Additional materials will be available to purchase during the workshop if you want to create multiple projects, but are completely optional.

Feel free to bring your own materials (shirts, towels, totes, etc.) to print on if you wish. No experience is necessary to participate in this workshop.

Rachel Lambes, the artist behind Thistlefield LLC, is a Northwest Ohio native currently living near Wauseon with her family. She holds a Master's of Education and works as a professional artist and legal writer. Rachel is a member of the Toledo Artists' Club and a gallery committee member for the Adrian Center for the Arts.

Appropriate for ages 12 and up.
