Curious? The Sound Playshop provides an opportunity to explore the vibrations and frequency of a variety of different instruments in a truly fun & experiential experience.
We will discuss the energy of sound and the various responses from a mind, body & soul perspective.
You will discover a variety of techniques in playing creating a unique soundscapes which can be used to support your meditation, yoga, breathwork, and similiar practices to enrich the sound experience whether for yourself or others.
A mini sound session will be shared at the end of the playshop!

This workshop will be guided by Bettina who has been playing crystal bowls since 2004. She is currently leading crystal bowl meditations every Monday at 1pm & 7pm at Essence Studio. Bettina has collaborated with her soul brother Branden for the last 10 years in doing sound meditations and collaborating with Trevor Uruski currently in creating unique sound journeys of sound every month. As well as providing sound accompaniment for several Yin Yoga classes, paint workshops & more. Bettina has guided sound meditations with the City of Red Deer, Women’s Recovery programs and other retreats as well. She has played for private sound events and weddings. Music is her love!
