🍻 Welcome to the THIRD meeting of Banned Books and Beer hosted by JCDP and the YDJC!
📚 If you like to read, drink beer, or both, then this Banned Book Club is for you! Each month, the group will decide on a banned book to read and get together at a local brewery downtown to discuss the book, discuss life, or just have a good time. There is no pressure (fellow neurodivergent friends, we're talking to you!).
📅 Our August meeting will be held August 27th at 6pm - 7:30pm EST -- at Inno Station in Dillsboro!
📖 August's book, selected by popular vote, will be "James" by Percival Everette. Fun fact: While not officially banned, this book, a retelling of the story of Huckleberry Finn, has been heavily challenged across the country. We're looking forward to discussing together!
