Northern Beaches Big Band & Blue Rift Big Band

The Northern Beaches Big Band, directed by Mr Joshua Hughes, is a community band composed mostly of top young musicians from local high schools, with a few adults thrown in! With jazz improvisation opportunities and high-level big band music ranging from classic Count Basie through to newer contemporary charts, we get together to play music because we love it!

Blue Riff Big Band is a band that have spent the last few decades playing quality jazz for Sydneysiders. Covering everything from classic swing charts to new arrangements, sharing a passion for making music and a talent for having fun.
