New Beginners Sword and Quarterstaff 6 Week Course - Open to All over 18s

Want to learn to fight like your favourite character from film, book or game? Well, you can if you're up for the challenge...

We’ll show you the basics, giving you the confidence to wield a sword, learn the footwork, cuts, parries and thrusts and all based on genuine Historical European sources. We'll also look at developing your skills with the quarterstaff too.

Our 6 week course is aimed at beginners but would also suit someone who’s trained in other martial arts but wants to start with weapons. We’re inclusive of everyone regardless of gender, ability or fitness level, you just need to be 18 or over. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind and offer, a safe, welcoming space for all.

Our focus as a club is on fun as well as practical skills transferable to real life situations.

We start at the beginning of June with all kit provided, insurance covered and one lesson for FREE! The total cost? Only £50 all in!

Sessions are Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:30pm at Pinetrees Community Centre, Pinehurst, Swindon.

This course will run every Tuesday from 3rd June to Tuesday 8th July, then having attended our beginners course, you can continue on to become a Scholler of the club attending our regular weekly sessions.
