Come celebrate Luke Day with NextHome Inspire on June 12th, 2025 from 3-7pm at 6004 Torrey Rd, Flint MI (Next to Scooter’s Bar and Grill)!
You’ve probably seen the little orange dogs around- that’s Luke, our beloved mascot! Every year on Luke’s birthday we celebrate by coming together for a great cause and giving back to our local communities.
This year, we’re hosting a fundraiser to support Shelter Animal Donations of Genesee County Animal Control, a nonprofit that provides essential support to the shelter. We’ll have adorable foster pups on site looking for their NextHome- so come show them some love! We’ll be collecting donations of food and supplies that the shelter urgently needs, including:
Kitten dry and wet food
Dog and cat toys
Milk Bones (no dye)
Bullysticks

🎟️ Enter our raffle for a chance to win amazing prizes! Tickets are $10 each for the raffle prizes. We will also have a 50/50 raffle tickets are $1 or $10 for an arms length. All proceeds go directly to the Shelter Animal Donations to support Genesee County Animal Control.
🎨Fun activities for kids, including air brush face painting, bubbles, chalk, coloring pages, and games like big connect 4 and “Luke Hole” (corn hole)!
🎂Celebrate with us as we cut and share Luke’s birthday cake!
🐶We encourage you to bring your pets along to join in the fun! We’ll have special “pup cups” (whipped cream in small cups) just for them!🐾
This will be an indoor and outdoor event connected with Scooter’s Bar & Grill, so there’s plenty of space for fun and community.
It’s a day filled with laughter, giving back, and celebrating our love for animals- all for a great cause! We’d love your support in making a difference for local shelter pets. See you there!
