Welcome to Mt. Pieces

Welcome to Mt. Pieces at the Players Club of Swarthmore is an improv comedy show that welcomes the audience into a brand new community of characters every show. Directed by Colin Mallee, the team asks for a suggestion of a location and creates improvised scenes set within that location, tying their characters together in intricate relationships, romances, and rivalries. Hilarity ensues as emotions flare and mishaps unfold, all made up completely on the spot by our team of pro improvisers.

"Bringing top tier improv to Delco has been my number one goal from the start. I've been performing in shows all over the city of Philadelphia (and once in Bethlehem) for over a decade now. The improv community in the city, both those who perform and those who patronize, is wonderful and I'm so happy to have made my mark on it in my own small way. But the suburbs have been sorely missing out on the joy of this ephemeral performance art style. Having performed at PCS and worked many times behind the scenes, I know first hand how special of a place this is and how treasured it is by the community around it. Getting to present comedy nights here featuring an improv team that I got to put together and direct in my own style has been the greatest accomplishment of my comedy career."- Colin Mallee, Director
