COURSE OVERVIEW
This programme equips procurement officers, supply chain managers, donor project teams, and compliance professionals with the knowledge and tools to align procurement and supply chain practices with global donor requirements and international standards. Participants will explore procurement planning, supplier selection, contract management, and compliance frameworks, while addressing risks, ethics, and governance in donor-funded and public projects.
The course is grounded in World Bank, African Development Bank (AfDB), and UN procurement frameworks, while drawing lessons from global supply chain trends such as digitization, ESG integration, and risk resilience. Participants will learn to strengthen accountability, ensure value-for-money, and manage supplier relations in high-stakes, compliance-driven environments.
