We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce our next event: A Summer Promenade!
Join us on Saturday, August 16th at Green Timbers Urban Forest Park in Surrey, BC at 11 am for a late morning stroll through exceptional forest and field paths with views of the beautiful central lake.
We understand Summer is a busy time for everyone, so we’ve decided to make this a shorter get-together than our previous Spring Picnic (which we immensely enjoyed!). There is a gorgeous shaded picnic area with a view of the park and lake near the entrance, so we would love to additionally invite you to bring picnic supplies for lunch following the promenade!
Please send us a message if you plan to attend! We just want to make sure to know our numbers before the day.
This is a free event, although any donation to the society goes a long way for our reach!
While costumes are required, accuracy is not. Please wear your favourite historically inspired Summer wear, with a possible emphasis on the Regency Era! And don’t forget your parasol and sunscreen!
We will meet at the Northern opening of the park just off the parking lot on 100 Ave. There is additional parking off of 148th.
Feel free to message us with any questions! We cannot wait to see everyone again, and hopefully some new faces as well!
