Pijanistica Martina Filjak pažnju šire međunarodne javnosti privukla je 2009., kada je osvojila 1. Nagradu i niz posebnih priznanja na renomiranom međunarodnom natjecanju u Clevelandu, te ubrzo potom debitirala u dvoranama Konzerthaus u Berlinu, Musikverein u Beču kao i dvorani Zankel u Carnegie Hallu. Neposredno prije Clevelanda bila je dobitnica prvih nagrada na natjecanjima Viotti ( 2007.) i Maria Canals u Barceloni (2008.) te bila laureat natjecanja Busoni u Bolzanu.
U Hrvatskoj je nagrađivana nagradama ‘Milka Trnina’ Hrvatskoga društva glazbenih umjetnika, državnom nagradom ‘Vladimir Nazor’ za izvedbe Brahmsova Prvoga koncerta i Kelemenova koncerta, ‘Orlandom’ za nastup na Dubrovačkim ljetnim igrama, Juditom za izvedbu koncerta Dore Pejačević na Splitskom ljetu, a 2009. odlikovana je Redom Hrvatskog pletera za postignuća u glazbi.
Posljednjih je nekoliko sezona Martina surađivala uz orkestre kao što su The Cleveland Orchestra, Sand Diego Symphony, The Florida Orchestra, Strasbourg Philharmonic, Barcelona Symphony, Bilbao Symphony, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, Staatskapelle Weimar, Staatskapelle Halle, Bremen Philharmonic, Lübeck Philharmonic, Robert – Schumann Philharmonie Chemnitz, Slovenska Filharmonija, Japan Century Symphony orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestrra kao i Orchestra Simfonica La Verdi u Milanu. Takodjer, nastupala je na znamenitim pozornicama dvorana kao sto su Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Konzerthaus Berlin, l’Auditori and Palau de la Música Catalana/ Barcelona, Zankel Hall u Carnegie Hall-u/ New York, Boston/ Jordan Hall, Teatro San Carlo, Sala Verdi, Salle Gaveau, Musikverein i Konzerthaus u Becu, NDR dvorana/ Hannover, Residenz in Munich, Auditorio Nacional – Madrid, te Ravinia Festival u Chicagu.
Takodjer, zadnjih je sezona nastupala uz renomirane dirigente kao sto su JoAnn Falletta, Stanislav Kochanovsky, Alexander Shelley, Hans Graf,Ivan Repusic, Julian Kovatchev, Markus Poschner, Marcus Bosch, Josep Caballe-Domenech, Paul Goodwin, Carlos Miguel Prieto i Stefan Sanderling. Svoju ljubav prema komornom muziciranju redovita izrazava u nastupima i suradnjama s umjetnicima kao sto su Szymanowski Quartet, Ensemble Berlin, Dmitry Sinkovsky, Radovan Vlatkovic, Felix Klieser, Andrej Bielow, Julian Steckel, Monika Leskovar te Eckart Runge.
Njezin posljednji nosac zvuka s djelima Franza Liszta izasao je u sijecnju 2020 u izdanju ‘Hänssler Classic’.

Violončelistica Monika Leskovar skrenula je na sebe pozornost javnosti 1995. godine kada je u trinaestoj godini postala najmlađom pobjednicom Međunarodnog natjecanja Čajkovski u Japanu. Najprije polaznica Glazbenog učilišta Elly Bašić u Zagrebu kod prof. Dobrile Berković Magdalenić, zatim učenica Valtera Dešpalja, diplomirala je i završila poslijediplomski studij na Glazbenoj akademiji Hanns Eisler u Berlinu u razredu prof. Davida Geringasa, gdje je 2006. preuzela mjesto njegova asistenta. Usavršavala se na majstorskim tečajevima Mstislava Rostropoviča i Bernarda Greenhousea. Pobjednica je mnogih međunarodnih natjecanja kao sto su ARD u Münchenu (2001.), Mstislav Rostropovič u Parizu, Roberto Caruana u Milanu (1999.) te Adam na Novom Zelandu (2003.). Bila je prva hrvatska predstavnica Eurovizijskog natjecanja za mlade glazbenike koja je ušla u finale, nastupivši u Beču 1998.
Koncertirala je u Japanu, Belgiji, Francuskoj, Njemačkoj, Danskoj, Mađarskoj, Velikoj Britaniji, Novom Zelandu te Australiji. Kao solistica nastupala je s orkestrima kao što su: Simfonijski orkestar Bavarskoga radija, Moskovska filharmonija, Sendajska filharmonija, Slovenska filharmonija, Sanktpeterburški simfonijski orkestar, Zagrebačka filharmonija, Essenska filharmonija, Praški komorni orkestar, Litavski komorni orkestar, Kremerata Baltica, Zagrebački solisti, te s dirigentima poput Valerija Gergijeva, Thomasa Hengelbrocka, Krzysztofa Pendereckog i mnogih drugih. Održala je brojne recitale, te redovito nastupa na festivalima komorne glazbe po cijelom svijetu, među kojima se ističu Manchester International Cello Festival, Kronberg Academy Festival, Rostropovich Festival, Festival Casals, Dubrovačke ljetne igre, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Mozartfest Würzburg i dr.
Ostvarila je uspješnu suradnju s brojnim istaknutim glazbenicima kao što su Giovanni Sollima, Ivana Švarc Grenda, Boris Berezovsky, Sofia Gubaidulina, Jurij Bašmet, Julian Rachlin, Stefan Milenković, Mischa Maiski, Itamar Golan, Gidon Kremer, Mario Brunello, Patti Smith, Janine Jansen i dr.
U sezoni 2010/2011. djelovala je kao prva violončelistica Münchenske filharmonije. Od 2012. godine profesorica je na Konzervatoriju Talijanske Švicarske u Luganu, a od 2017. izvanredni profesor na Muzičkoj akademiji u Zagrebu. Svira na violončelu napuljskog majstora Vincenza Postiglionea iz godine 1884., koje je dobila na upotrebu od grada Zagreba i Zagrebačke filharmonije.

Pianist Martina Filjak first drew the attention of international public in 2009 by placing first and earning several acknowledgments at a renowned international competition in Cleveland. Soon after this, she had her debuts at Konzerthaus in Berlin, Musikverein in Vienna, and Carnegie Hall’s Zankel (“A lively and attractive stage presence… resourcefulness of technique and naturalness of musicality…a pianist to watch” The New York Times wrote in its review). Before Cleveland, she had won the Viotti International Music Competition (2007) and the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona (2008) and was one of the laureates at the Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano.
In Croatia, Martina Filjak has received the Milka Trnina Award from the Croatian Association of Music Artists; the Vladimir Nazor Award from the state for her performances of Johannes Brahms’ Piano Concerto No. 1, and Milko Kelemen’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra; the Dubrovnik Summer Festival’s Orlando Award; Judita for her performance of Dora Pejačević’s concerto at the Split Summer Festival, and in 2009 she was credited for her achievements in music with the Order of the Croatian Interlace.

Cellist Monika Leskovar first captured public attention in 1995 when, at the age of thirteen, she became the youngest winner of the Tchaikovsky International Competition in Japan. A former student of the Elly Bašić Music School in Zagreb under Prof. Dobrila Berković Magdalenić, she later studied with Valter Dešpalj and went on to complete her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin in the class of Prof. David Geringas. In 2006, she was appointed his assistant. She further refined her artistry in masterclasses with Mstislav Rostropovich and Bernard Greenhouse.
Monika is a laureate of numerous international competitions, including the ARD Competition in Munich (2001), the Mstislav Rostropovich Competition in Paris, the Roberto Caruana Competition in Milan (1999), and the Adam International Cello Festival and Competition in New Zealand (2003). In 1998, she became the first Croatian representative to reach the finals of the Eurovision Young Musicians competition, performing in Vienna.
She has performed in Japan, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, Hungary, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia. As a soloist, she has appeared with renowned orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Moscow Philharmonic, the Sendai Philharmonic, the Slovenian Philharmonic, the Saint Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, the Zagreb Philharmonic, the Essen Philharmonic, the Prague Chamber Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, Kremerata Baltica, and the Zagreb Soloists. She has collaborated with distinguished conductors including Valery Gergiev, Thomas Hengelbrock, Krzysztof Penderecki, among many others.
Monika has given numerous recitals and regularly performs at chamber music festivals around the world. Notable appearances include the Manchester International Cello Festival, Kronberg Academy Festival, Rostropovich Festival, Casals Festival, Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Mozartfest Würzburg, and more.
In the 2010/2011 season, she served as principal cellist of the Munich Philharmonic. Since 2012, she has been a professor at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, and since 2017, an associate professor at the Academy of Music in Zagreb. She performs on a cello crafted by Neapolitan master Vincenzo Postiglione in 1884, on loan from the City of Zagreb and the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.
