Día de Los Muertos Collage Celebration - Workshop for kids

Celebrate Día de los Muertos with Art!

This special workshop invites children to explore the rich traditions of Día de los Muertos through art and storytelling. Guided by Cora Bracho of CBArt Studios, young artists will learn about the life and work of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, whose creativity and passion continue to inspire generations.

Students will design and craft their own skull collage using mixed media materials, combining bright colors, patterns, and textures to reflect this joyful cultural celebration. While creating, kids will also learn about the meaning behind Día de los Muertos and the importance of honoring ancestry and memory in Mexican tradition.
