Creative Coping

Bring any photos, old magazines, illustrated books in rough shape (to upcycle), cool paper, junk mail, and a glue stick or 2 down to Superior Public Library for the first of many monthly no-cost creative events hosted by Dissociated Arts Studio! This one is 100 percent free to attend even if you have no materials-don’t let skill level or supplies deter you-we will make sure you have everything you need!
We will be using collage and mixed media as a way to create a personal piece of art, in an open space that is welcoming and supportive. You will take home new or renewed skills, as well as some potential coping skills and connections.
Connect to yourself and your emotions through art, being an “artist” or “having an imagination” is not a prerequisite. If you don’t feel you are creative, this is meant for you. Let us prove you wrong in the best way!
