Creating REELS 101

This workshop is designed specifically for small business owners who want to use Instagram reels in a way that actually supports their business, not just adds more noise to their feed.

In my work coaching small business owners online, I teach that your social media should reflect your wider business and personal goals. What you put into the public space should have purpose and direction, and your content should support what you are building long term.

I believe every small business owner should understand the foundations of their own social media. Even if you choose to outsource your content or work with a social media manager, having a strong understanding of the basics helps you make better decisions and stay connected to how your business shows up online.

Reels are one of the easiest ways to get your business seen online, but only if you understand why you are creating them and how to make them work for you.

This beginner friendly, face to face workshop is designed to help you stop overthinking reels and start creating simple, effective content with confidence.

In this 2 hour session, we will cover the core foundations of reels. The why behind reels and how they fit into your overall social media strategy, a simple introduction to content pillars so your reels actually support your business goals, and how to organise your phone properly so content creation feels easier, not chaotic.

You will then be guided step by step through:
• creating a reel using Instagram Edits
• creating a reel using CapCut

This is a hands on session. You will see exactly how reels are created from start to finish using real examples and simple workflows you can repeat at home.
