They’re still carrying the loss of their dear friend and original bandmate, Chris Stafford—whose guitar and spirit helped define their early sound. Chris was a true son of Bayou Teche country, and his absence is still felt in every note.
But the Blues don’t just mourn. They move. They transform. They carry us forward.
Now, stepping into that lineage is Daniel Coolik—Grammy-nominated and no stranger to Louisiana stages. With mandolin, fiddle, and guitar in hand, Daniel brings his own flavor to the mix, keeping the band’s sound rooted, rich, and very much alive.
