Hiya, we are The Flow State (Chris - guitar + backing vox, Eloise - main vox, Gary - drums & Marcia - Bass), a predominantly blues-rock centred 4-piece band with graceful vocals and blazing guitars that flip to beautiful melodic lines. Our debut EP 'Disappear', was recorded at The Peacock in Sunderland and mixed & mastered by our bassist. It represents the core pillars of our sound with conceptual lyrics drawn from lived experience.
This EP received demo of the month in Narc's Oct2024 issue which described it as containing 'professional sounding sultry soul vocal sitting out front on a woven tapestry of gently meandering melody lines'.
We have played predominantly in Sunderland at the Independent and The Bunker, but have began moving into the Newcastle theme with two performances at The Globe (which footage is available of on our IN & FB).
We are in the process of looking to record more of our ever growing catalogue of original material and are very excited to play more live shows in the future!
