Explore Rock Pooling

Come join COAST South Tyneside and COAST Sunderland as we explore the rock pools along our beautiful coastline!

We’ll introduce you to the fascinating creatures we find, show you how to tell the differences between them, and explain how you can become a COAST ambassador—learning how to explore our shores while helping to protect the wildlife that lives there.

We’ll have tubs available so we can take a closer look at the species we discover!
