A Taste at the Gardens
Get ready to kick off the 2025 Iris Festival in style! Join us at 6 PM on Thursday, May 15, for Taste at the Gardens, presented by the University of South Carolina Sumter.

Savor mouthwatering bites from local restaurants and food trucks while DJ Howie D keeps the vibes lively with some great tunes. Plus, enjoy free boat rides and soak in the scenic beauty of the water!

Another festival favorite—the crowning of the Iris Festival King and Queen—will happen at the event, where outstanding student leaders from Sumter High Schools are honored.

It’s going to be an evening full of fun, food, and community! Bring your friends, your appetite, and get ready for an unforgettable time. Oh, and did we mention? Admission is FREE!
