Dr. David Molen was born in Seattle and raised in Auburn. After completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University and spending 2 years in Finland, he returned to attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry and graduated with honors in 1999.
He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and graduated from Mayo Medical School as part of an integrated residency program. He completed a post-graduate year in general surgery and trauma/critical care and was the Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery for his final year of training.
Dr. Molen then returned to the Pacific Northwest, where he has been in private practice ever since. He is a member of multiple professional societies and maintains licenses and certification in Dentistry, Medicine, General Anesthesia, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Molen enjoys reading, skiing and CrossFit. Most of all, he enjoys spending as much time as possible with his two grandsons, Leonardo and Alessandro.
Dr. Molen will be lecturing on "Oral Lesions and Radiographic Findings: What to Ignore, What to Watch, and What to Refer."
