🌸 Spring Hope & Healing Charity Event 🌸
Springtime is a season of renewal, but for many, it can also be a time of heightened stress and mental health challenges. While we often associate spring with sunlight and new beginnings, it can coincide with seasonal depression, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
Suicide rates unfortunately tend to rise in the spring. Every year, over 720,000 people die by suicide, with veterans making up a significant portion of these tragic statistics. This is a serious public health issue affecting families and communities worldwide. The reasons for suicide are complex, influenced by a mix of social, cultural, biological, psychological, and environmental factors.
Vintage Vixens Spring Hope & Healing aims to raise awareness about PTSD and MST and to help save lives and improve the well-being of those silently suffering. Our past conferences have shown a positive impact, with attendees sharing how their lives were changed for the better. The event covers important topics like symptoms, grounding and coping techniques, local resources, and insights from counselors and psychologists.
Join us at our next conference on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 6:30-9pm at Cambria Hotel, 405 Sigma Drive, Summerville, SC. This charity event includes dinner, entertainment, and speakers. Cocktail attire is encouraged. Tickets are $60, with 20 FREE tickets available for veterans with an Honorable DD214.
