Plein Air Painting Workshop with Sheila Forsyth - Summerside Arts Fest

Join us for a fun and inspiring Plein Air Painting Workshop in the beautiful gardens of the Wyatt Heritage Properties (205 Prince Street, Summerside), led by acclaimed local artist Sheila Forsyth! This in-person event offers the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the outdoors while developing your painting skills in a supportive and creative environment. There is no cost for this event.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced painter, Sheila will guide you through techniques and approaches for capturing natural landscapes in real time. It’s a wonderful chance to learn, grow, and connect with fellow artists in a relaxed and scenic setting.

Please bring your own painting supplies, including paints, brushes, and canvas or sketchpad. A limited number of easels will be available on-site for those who need them. We also recommend dressing for the weather and bringing water and a sunhat, as the workshop will take place outdoors, weather permitting.

This workshop is part of the Summerside Arts Fest presented by Wyatt Heritage Properties Inc., running from May 31 to June 18, 2025, a celebration of creativity and community!
