Solano Alzheimer's speaking @NARFE Meeting on 8/12 at Black Bear Diner

Meeting Time: We meet at 11am so the waitress can take all of our individual orders about the same time. (This helps on days when the restaurant may be short staffed).

Meeting Agenda

1. meeting is called to order around 11:30am
2. pledge of allegiance to the flag
3. short introductions from the chapter officers
4. introduction of guest speaker from Solano Alzheimer's Association.
5. question and answer period
6. short amount of chapter business and/or training /or resources
7. announcement--next meeting date set. Individuals pay for their meals.

The Fairfield/Suisun chapter:

• ----and we talk about resources and local, state and federal issues,
• ----and our chapters supports the Alzheimers Association, the Nat'l cemetary in Davis &
• ----and we have given scholarships to local graduating high school students.

What is NARFE

NARFE stands for National Active and Federal Employees

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) is a US-based nonprofit, 501(c)5 membership association dedicated to preserving, protecting, and improving the pay and benefits of active and retired federal employees, their families, and survivors. We provide webinars about current issues affecting current and retired federal employees along with a federal magazine and NARFE perks, and much more.
