Suffolk Public Schools (SPS) is inviting job seekers across the region to attend its upcoming Job Fair on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at King’s Fork Middle School, located at 350 Kings Fork Road, Suffolk, VA 23434.
The event aims to connect motivated individuals with immediate employment opportunities in a variety of support roles throughout the division. Positions include:
Substitute Teachers – $165.00/day
Substitute Teacher Assistants – $132.00/day
Bus Drivers – $19.10/hour
Lead School Bus Driver Trainees – $20.67/hour
Substitute Bus Drivers – $19.10/hour
Substitute Bus Aides – $16.20/hour
Cafeteria Associates – $16.20/hour
Substitute Cafeteria Associates – $16.20/hour
Attendees are encouraged to complete an application online prior to the event or bring a printed copy of their completed online application. SPS Human Resources staff will be on site to answer questions, assist with the hiring process, and discuss career pathways within the school division.
