The Power of Grounding To Reduce Worry- Qigong Workshop

Develop your ability to connect to your inner life force and to ground your energy deeply. In the Power of Grounding to Reduce Worry Qigong workshop, you will be introduced to a qigong form, Bear Catches A fish. The bear animal is solid and its movement is rooted into the earth. The exercise involves lowering the center of gravity. It works with balance, and gentle twists through the torso to compress and expand the spleen. The spleen and stomach are the organs that correspond with the Earth element and Bear animal. When the earth element is out of balance, the mind tends to ruminate, weakening the digestive system which can create poor absorption of nutrients, bowel disturbances and often brain fog.

Practicing Bear Qigong aids to remove stuck or dirty qi from the Spleen and stomach, and to draw in pure qi to optimize the mind and body.

Ancient exercises will be taught that enhance the movement of energy through these organs and their paired meridians (the pathways that communicate between the body and organs).

You will be guided through breathwork techniques to transform and release blockages and emotions that no longer serve you.
