ABOUT THE HIKE:
Rainbow Routes is in partnership with the Laurentian's Environmental Sustainability Committee for a special evening walk under the stars and planets. Join us for a Planetarium show at the Doran Planetarium at Laurentian University's Fraser building, followed by a walk under the stars to the Living with Lakes Centre, as we observe Venus and Mercury in the night sky!
Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to Laurentian University's Student Food Bank.
HIKE DETAILS:
When: Friday, June 20th, 2025 from 7:00p.m - 9:30p.m
Location: 935 Ramsey Lake Road, Sudbury, ON P3E 2C6
Meeting place: Fraser Building at Laurentian University (Before the hike we will watch a short Planetarium show.)
Trail: Laurentian University to Living With Lakes Centre
Terrain: Hardpacked, natural
Length: 2 km
Dress: Hike will be in the evening, dress for the weather.
Difficulty: Easy/Moderate
Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours
Hike Leaders: Hoi Cheu
Hike Type: Medium paced with stops to enjoy the views above!

Registration is required to participate in the hike. This ensures that you receive all last-minute notifications, including weather-related cancellations or any changes to the event plan. Note that you will receive a confirmation email the day before the hike.
Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA dark blue vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.
