About the Hike

Enjoy walking through one of the beautiful trails Rainbow Routes has to offer. This trail is alongside Kelly Lake and runs from Fielding Park to Southview Drive, there are some very pretty views, lots of trees, many ups and downs and some cool boardwalks.

When: Saturday, July 5th, 2025 9:00 a.m. to 11:00am
Meeting place: Fielding Park Parking Lot
Trail: Kelly Lake Trail
Terrain: Natural, Boardwalk, Some rocky surfaces
Length: 6-8 km, Linear (there and back)
Dress: Good walking shoes
Duration: 2 hours
Difficulty: Easy to moderate
Hike Leader: Steven Townend
Hike Type: This will be a Sudbury Camino training hike, as it is part of the Sudbury Camino route. There will be short stops, with mostly navigation as the focus for the hike.

Registration is required to participate in the hike. This ensures that you receive all last-minute notifications, including weather-related cancellations or any changes to the event plan. Note that you will receive a confirmation email the day before the hike.
Our hikes are designed to accommodate participants capable of walking on outdoor trails. Look out for organizers in RRA blue vests at the event for any assistance or questions you may have.
