Guided Bat Walk

Join us for an evening of bat discovery! 🦇🌙 This event is a perfect way to connect with nature explore the world of bats and learn how we can protect these important nighttime insect-hunters.

The Junction Creek Stewardship Committee will be talking all things bats and demonstrating bat detection technology! We’ll kick things off with a short introduction to local bat species followed by a hands-on demo of acoustic bat monitor. Then we’ll head out for a guided walk to listen for and identify bats in real time using specialized equipment. It’s a unique chance to explore the night and learn about these fascinating and elusive creatures.
