This 4-part workshop series focuses on refined movement on the Reformer while building strength and developing a deeper connection between the mind and body.
Over four classes, Jenine will guide participants through the Pilates practice, building on the core principles and the integral breathwork of the Pilates techniques. This series is open to beginners and intermediate participants who want to challenge their minds and bodies.
Week 1 - January 11: Work through the essentials of Pilates principles, anatomical alignment, breath-work, and core activation techniques.
Week 2- January 18: Build upon the foundational skills from Week 1 with exersices to challenge our mind/body connection by decreasing the body's base of support.
Week 3 - January 25: Explore how to dynamically load and build oppositional energy for more effective movement.
Week 4 - February 1: In the final class, emphasize the body’s strength and power, understanding where strength originates and how to access it.
What to expect:
The Form & Foundation Workshop Series consists of four weekend classes, starting at 1:00 PM each Sunday from January 11th to February 1st.
Each class is intentionally designed to help you refined your movement on the Reformer, build strength, and develop a deep connection between your mind and body.
Cost: The price for the entire series is $200.00.
By signing up for the first class, you are registering for the entire series and committing to attend all four workshop days. We will add you to the series upon registration, so you receive reminders before each class.
