Led by the versatile Rick Faris, stands out as a formidable presence in the Bluegrass scene. With a dedication to the music’s heritage, they push the boundaries of the genre, to deliver a uniquely captivating sound. Rick Faris is a seasoned musician known for his evocative vocals and instrumental prowess. Rick leads the group joined by brother JimBob Faris, bringing sibling harmonies and humor to the stage which is complimented by Rick's new hires Henry Burgess on mandolin and Gibson Davis on banjo, adding fresh energy and expertise to the lineup. Together, this talented group of musicians crafts a seamless blend of traditional Bluegrass roots and contemporary influences, creating a dynamic musical experience that resonates with anyone experiencing the human condition. Based in Owensboro, KY, the band's performances showcase their collective artistry and passion for storytelling through music. Before he started this band, Rick toured world wide with the renowned Chicago based bluegrass band Special Consensus. Within that time, he received multiple IBMA awards and two Grammy Nominations. After touring 11 years with Special C, he decided to take the next step in his career to start his own band, as well as sign with Nashville based label Dark Shadow Records. He has released three incredible records with them and has a fourth one on the way. With each note, the Rick Faris Band exudes authenticity and soul, captivating listeners with their distinctive sound and compelling performances. Their presence in Bluegrass music continues to grow, solidifying their reputation as innovative and influential musicians in the genre. This is a performance you do not want to miss!
